Tour Overview
Ngalakhang Tshechuis a small community festival celebrated annually for a period of three days in the village of Ngaain the Choekhorvalley of Bumthang. One standout thing about this festival is that the masked dances are performed by laymen and folk songs orchestrated by the women from the village. The so-called community vitality ingrained in Bhutan’s development philosophy of Goss National Happiness (GNH) will be noticed ever so vividly when you attend this festival. The festival brings out the fabled Utopian Society into reality.
