Masangang Trek is a difficult one but that should not sound as a deterrent to our valued clientele. It in fact should be pursued as a hurdle worth crossing after you have entered the land of the thunder dragon. This trek takes you to a remote north western region of Laya nestled at the base of Mount Masagang which stands at 7,200m (2,3615ft) above sea level.
The Layaps(People of Laya) consider their place as ‘Baeyul’ or the hidden paradise where the customs and traditions of the Layaps set them distinctly apart from the rest of their Bhutanese brethrens.
